SAIL TO THE MOON: a yoga + contemporary dance workshop

Saturday July 20th, from 2-4pm, led by Jess Carthen

Enhance your experience with the beautiful combination of asana and contemporary dance.

The focus of Sail To the Moon is on natural movement and transitions ranging from mundane everyday actions to the advanced asana and everywhere in between.

We will also explore modern dance and certain techniques derived from moving through space, across planes, in groups, and individually. This workshop is designed to release our inner energies, connect with the breath, the body, and with music and to liberate us from the confines of our minds and our mats! You are encouraged to feel a sense of freedom, release, and confidence as you move to the rhythm of your breath, guided by the music, and explore your edges while you discover another way of expressing yourself with no words, just pure, natural movement from within.

Revive - CBD Yoga

Saturday July 20th from 8:30-9:30pm, led by Houston Healing Circles

Join Houston Healing Circles for an evening of healing, relaxation, and community at the Revive CBD yoga class.The workshop will begin with sipping on herbal CBD tea as we dive into understanding how CBD works with the mind, body, and spirit. After that, we will flow into a restorative chakra balancing yoga class / sound bath.

This combination will be deeply relaxing and healing. It will calm our central nervous system and mind. Throughout the class we will introduce a CBD body oil and salve to deepen our practice and open our bodies to greater healing. Also, all levels of yoga are welcome to attend this class - all the way from beginner to advanced.

Silent Disco Yoga and Sound Healing

Sunday July 21th from 8:30-9:30pm, led by Candice Quinoa and Saumil Manek

A night of Yoga, Bliss & Sound healing. Using our wireless headphones, transport yourself into an encompassing atmosphere that will deepen your practice.

This night is designed to take you from deep meditation into a heart centering yoga practice led by Candice Quino,while a live DJ plays music through wireless headphones. After yoga we will have a Binaural Sound healing, featuring Saumil Manek on bowls and Dash Speer on 432hz Synth.

Neck and shoulders Remember your Blessings

Sunday July 28th 2:00-3:30pm, led by Janaki Mayhill

Have you heard the saying “you hold the weight of the world on your shoulders.” It turns into burdens and stress, creating your body to feel pain and/or discomfort. It is a matter of shifting your perspective and listening to your own body’s signals and seeing things in a whole new way, and find out what blessing you are really here for.

“As you take your journey and shift your embodied perspective; simply listen to your inner self; while you remember all your blessings, and touch your deep feeling world. You then allow yourselves to love and transmute your burdens into your blessings; while shifting your pain into pleasure.”

This class will encompass Nada yoga "yoga union through sound,” somatic movement ”body-mind integration through full awareness of movement” long-held asanas ”poses”, Pranayama ”breath work”, and yoga Nidra ”yogic sleep” is a deep relaxation technique and a form of guided meditation.
You will connect with you in a brand new way through a cosmic Yoga Nidra and crystal singing bowls as you journey all aspects of you in your full relaxation self and allow your sound to carry you into a deeper state of being, and watch your magic unfold in your life as you land home in you!

Emotional Intelligence: How does lack of emotional awareness impact our self esteem?

In collaboration with Montrose yoga coop, we will explore the power of mindful thinking, creating positive intentions, and seeking the best version of you. Sign up for this six part series of self enrichment classes where we merge the philosophies of yoga and self love with practical, dialectic psychology. Topics will include: cognitive shifting, self esteem, Intrinsic motivation, healthy relationships, creative mind space, and empowerment.

Yoga and Sacred Geometry

Saturday August 10th from 3:00 to 5:00pm, led by Samuel Palmer

Sacred Geometry is the template of all creation, and your body is no exception. Learning to
utilize the principles of sacred geometry is THE purpose of asana practice. Samuel Palmer,
author of the book, “Yoga and Sacred Geometry”, will be teaching a 2 hour workshop on how to
use the principles of sacred geometry in asana and meditation. The class will be part lecture
and part movement. Everyone can benefit from this class.


BikiniMind Body and Soul

Sunday August 11th, from 2:15 to 3:15 PM, led by Jessica Archer

Hi, I’m Jessica Archer & I am a certified personal trainer, yoga instructor, Reiki Master & Astrologer. My passion in life is to empower others to live strong, happy & healthy lives. I live out my dreams by teaching the techniques that rescued me from my own battles with depression & body weight issues. Workshop descriptor Come spend 90 minutes with me on your mat & let me show you how to incorporate bodyweight resistance training to build lean muscle mass & gain core strength while also adding yogic postures to increase flexibility & balance. You will learn an entire functional fitness workout that be done on your own in the privacy & comfort of your own home. This is also a workout that you can take on the road with you anywhere while traveling! No gym or fancy equipment needed, only your presence & a mat.

Conscious Yogini: A Holistic Journey of the Feminine Life Cycle Workshop Series

Sunday August 18th from 2:00 to 3:30pm, led by Vera Von Bergen and Neha

The first part of Conscious Yogini is the Cycling Warrior. This workshop encompasses reproductive years and will include a background in anatomy and physiology including hormonal changes, menstruation related medical conditions. The majority of the workshop will include movement and breathing geared towards different parts of the feminine cycle. We will conclude with mind and spirit practices and nutritional support.
